The dual threads are converged on the bag’s inner side and trimmed with a 2 to 3mm thread remnant, which is then lightly singed at low temperature. The molten polyester wax forms tiny solid beads that are pressed into the punched holes to fix the stitching. This process is firm and not easy to unravel with high production efficiency, yet it has fatal defects for light-colored ostrich leather. The exposed inner backstitches fail to meet original factory standards, and slight deviations in heat control will cause molten wax residue to seep into the punched holes, forming permanent dark black spots on the light leather surface.
