The specific operational procedures are elaborated as follows.

First comes rigid alignment to calibrate the overall outline and key dimensions. Place the finished bag side by side with an authentic piece featuring identical leather and hardware finishes for overlay comparison under a constant environment with a temperature of 22 to 25 degrees Celsius and relative humidity between 50% and 60%. For overall outline alignment using naked eyes and calipers, align the peak points of the curved smile lines on both sides along with the width of the bag opening, the width of the base and the overall height when viewing from the front. From the side, match the bag thickness, the connection points between shoulder straps and the main body, as well as the positions of the bottom studs. When looking down from above, ensure perfect symmetry on both sides, a consistent opening angle of the bag mouth and uniform depth of the gusset pleats on either side.

Precise measurements are then carried out with a permitted error range of ±0.5 to 1 millimeter. Use digital calipers and laser rangefinders to measure all key positions and compare the data with the records of authentic products. The standard dimensions of the authentic Lindy 26 are 26 centimeters in width, 18 centimeters in height and 13 centimeters in depth. Measured items also include the inner width of the bag opening, the outer width of the base, the height difference between the front and rear panels, and the depth of the side pleats, which define the iconic smile curve of the Lindy bag. Besides, measure the length, thickness and installation positions of top handles, as well as the width, thickness and hole spacing of shoulder straps. In terms of correcting dimensional deviations, if the overall length, width and height are larger or smaller than standard, scale the paper patterns by 0.5% to 1% and recut the leather materials. If the bag is already sewn, unpick the stitches on the sides and bottom, trim the leather or add padding materials before restitching. For partial asymmetry such as uneven depth of left and right pleats, disassemble the corresponding sections, adjust the thickness of internal supports made of EVA or rigid lining, shape the leather manually with a rubber mallet and sew the parts back together. The total weight of the full hardware set has a tolerance of no more than 2 grams compared with authentic parts. A single lock weighs roughly 70 grams and each bottom stud about 5 grams. After all dimensions, silhouette and details are fully verified, finalize the paper patterns, specifications of internal supports and all craft parameters for standardized mass production. The first finished piece of each production batch must be compared with an authentic product for inspection.

Genuine bags use French TC leather which is 1.25 millimeters thick with a density of 0.41 grams per cubic centimeter. Shebag also applies the same French TC leather whenever possible. When the supply chain cannot provide this material, Italian imported calfskin is used instead. This alternative leather is 1.23 millimeters thick with a density of 0.39 grams per cubic centimeter, featuring a 0.02-millimeter thickness difference and a slightly higher luster. Authentic bags use animal glue that melts slowly at 80 degrees Celsius, which is also adopted by Shebag. Nevertheless, handmade marks are inevitable. The unique hammer traces and minor stitch variations left by veteran craftsmen on authentic bags can be imitated but never fully replicated, as such subtle differences come naturally from individual workmanship.
